Shall Follow Them That Believe

Can you
imagine, you and your friends are sitting down eating, just enjoying
yourselves, and Christ appears from
out of nowhere, from the dead, intensely emotional,
and
starts getting all over your case, scolding
you with the energy of
a hurricane, severely
criticize you about NOT
believing people who claimed that they
had seen him, after he was crucified, buried, and that he had
risen from the dead? Well,
that's exactly
what happened in Mark 16 verse 14
below.
Mark 16
14: Afterward he
appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them
with their unbelief
and hardness of heart,
because they
believed not
them
which had seen him after he was risen.

Merriam-Webster online Dictionary
1 : to
criticize severely : find fault with
2 : to
reproach severely : scold vehemently
Why
wouldn't they believe it, anyway? After all, wasn't that what Christ
came to do?
15: And he said unto
them, Go ye into all the world, and preach
the gospel
to every
creature.
Now, after
Christ gives his apostles a good
scolding, then, he commanded them to go
out preaching
the gospel.
I bet they
were real motivated
after that. You see, the apostles are the PREACHERS.
16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall
be damned.
Now, He
that believeth
"the gospel"
and is baptized
shall be saved,
and He that don't
believeth "the
gospel" will be damned?
17: And these signs
shall follow them
that believe;
In my name shall they cast out
devils;
they
shall speak with new
tongues;
18: They shall take
up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it
shall not
hurt
them; they
shall lay hands on the
sick, and they
shall recover.
Right here!
Christ said, "these FIVE
signs shall follow them
that believe
the GOSPEL!
Notice, Christ said, them that believe; in
his name
that they are able
to perform these signs.
Well,
the
fact is, according to Christ, if these signs are not following you:
means you don't believe, and you are not saved. And, if you
are not saved,
you
must be DAMNED!
Now,
I
didn't say that, Christ
did in verse 16.
19: So then after
the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the
right hand of God.
After
surprising his
apostles, and severely
reproaching them, then, sending them out into
all the world to preach
the gospel to every
creature, Christ was received up into
heaven, where he can finally rest in peace. Well, until his second
coming, of course.
20: And they went
forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with
signs following. Amen.
You see,
the signs
that follow the apostles
(the preachers)
will also be given to ALL
those who believe
and be baptized.
Today,
we see a lot of preachers trying
to do this stuff. All they are trying to do is prove, to the world,
that they BELIEVE
in the GOSPEL
of Christ. But,
Christ
said, "them that believe"
meaning "any and
everybody that believe" not just the
preachers, will have these FIVE
signs follow
them, also.
So, tell
me, do you BELIEVETH?
Have you been BAPTIZED?
Are you SAVED?
If so,
where are YOUR
signs?
