Is Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:21-23 speaking of the SAME event?

By: Z'kharYah Yisra'El

If a man is called, before a court of law, to testify, under oath, as a witness, on a matter, and he is caught in several lies, what will happen to his testimony? His whole testimony will be thrown out! And he will be considered a none creditable witness. Plus, HE will be labeled a liar, and HE will never be used as a witness again in the SAME trial. (He voluntarily violated his oath) He may even be charged with perjury, meaning; the deliberate, willful giving of false, misleading, or incomplete testimony under oath. He swore to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the TRUTH, so help him God, and he even put his hand on the Bible when he took the oath.

Leviticus 19

12: And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy Elohim: I am Yahweh.

Remember, Matthew is under oath, he claims this is the word of God. ONLY a FOOL would give a deliberate, false, and misleading testimony of God's word. Well, let's read Matthew Chapter 1, verses 18-23, and see if HIS testimony, about the birth of Christ, is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the TRUTH, or is it a FABRICATED LIE. Before we start reading, remember, we need to understand what we are reading.

Proverbs 4 verse 7 says that:

7: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Matthew 1

18: Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother
Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together,
she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19: Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make
her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

20: But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD
appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David,
fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is
conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS:
for he shall save his people from their sins.

22: Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled
which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they
shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Verse 19 say that Joseph, her Husband, was minded to put her away, (Divorce her). You see, verse 18 say before they came together (had sex) she was pregnant. Now, Joseph, her Husband, knew that he was not the father, so he was going to divorce her IN PRIVATE.

But, in verse 20, while he was thinking about divorcing her, and how he was going to do it, behold, the angel of the LORD came to him and told him not to worry, because the Holy Ghost was the FATHER of Mary's, HIS WIFE'S, baby. I bet Joseph breath a sigh of relief there, and said, "THANK GOD!, it was not another man!" Why didn't the angel of the LORD come to Joseph BEFORE the Holy Ghost got Mary pregnant? Better yet, why didn't the Holy Ghost, HIMSELF, come to Joseph, and let him know what HE was about to do, BEFORE he decided to get ANOTHER MAN'S wife pregnant? The Holy Ghost could had let Joseph know that he did NOT qualify to be the BIOLOGICAL father of Christ, because he (Joseph) was NOT HOLY ENOUGH. That would have saved Joseph a lot of AGONY (intense pain of mind).

Now, verses 22 and 23 saying; "now all this was done, that it might be FULFILLED which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, God with us."

In verse 21, the angel told Joseph that she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name J-E-S-U-S:, NOT Emmanuel!, but J-E-S-U-S. Now, where was this spoken, of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel? There is only one place in the whole Holy Scriptures (so-called Old Testament) where that was spoken of, and that's in, Isaiah 7:14. * no other place!

Now, let's go to Isaiah 7:14 and see if Matthew was telling the TRUTH!

Isaiah 7:14 says, Therefore Yahweh himself shall give you a SIGN; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Now, what was the reason Yahweh gave a SIGN, and to WHOM, did he give it? Was Isaiah 7:14 a prophecy about the Christ, of the new testament, being born to save the world or was it a SIGN to Ahaz, the king of Judah, and to the house of David, that Yahweh will be with them?

Is Matthew's testimony CREDITABLE? or INCREDIBLE!?

Well, Let's see.

Isaiah 7, starting with verse 1.

1: And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah,
that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Yisra'el, went up
toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

You see, right away, in verse 1, that, Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah, king of Yisra'el, got together to war against Ahaz, the king of Judah.

2: And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart
was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

You see, King Ahaz and everyone in Judah were so terrified, when they heard the news, that they shook like trees in a windstorm.

"Syria is confederate with Ephraim".

Confederate means to be,  United in a league : ALLIED. Syria and Yisra'el are know enemies, see, 1 Kings 20: 21, 22" and, 2 Kings 6: 8, 9, but yet,
Yisra'el is ALLIED with Syria, (a know enemy), to war against his own brothers, Judah.

Ephraim is a synonym for the entire "kingdom of Yisra'el," (The 10 northern tribes). Reuben, Simeon, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, (Ephraim and Manasseh - Joseph's two sons.) (Joseph, himself, did not inherit territory, Ephraim and Manasseh - Joseph's two sons, inherit territory in his stead -- also referred to as, "House of Joseph.") (see, Genesis; 48:1-22, Numbers 2:18-21, & Ezekiel 47:13)

Judah is a synonym for the entire "kingdom of Judah," (The 2 southern tribes) Judah and Benjamin, also referred to as, "House of David".

The tribe of Levi did not inherit territory, they inherited the priestly duties of Yahweh. (see, Numbers 18:20-24)

3: Then said Yahweh unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son,
at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;

4: And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails
of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

Yahweh told me to tell you, that, "don't be fainthearted, and don't worry about it. He will be with us!," said Isaiah.

5: Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

6: Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:

You see, they want to bring distress, suffering, and perplexity to Judah, to make an opening, so Judah would collapse, then, in the midst of it, set up their own (FOREIGN king), even the son of Tabeal.

7: Thus saith Yahweh Elohim, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

Yahweh said, "It shall NOT stand, neither shall it come to pass." (IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!)

8: For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

Within THREESCORE and FIVE years, (65 years), shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. Is Christ going to be born within THREESCORE and FIVE years (65 years) of when this was said? I DON'T THINK SO!

9: And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

If ye will not believe, SURELY ye shall NOT be ESTABLISHED, meaning ....(to be made FIRM and STABLE)

10: Moreover Yahweh spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

Right here! Again, who is Yahweh speaking to? "Yahweh spake again unto AHAZ."

11: Ask thee a sign of Yahweh thy Elohim; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

Now, here, Yahweh said, "Ask thee a sign of Yahweh thy Elohim, AHAZ." NOT, Mary and Joseph. Ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. It can be anything! Whatever you want! Yahweh said, let me prove it to you. Ask thee a sign of Yahweh thy Elohim; In other words, ask me whatever you want to ask, there's nothing to hard for ME! Remember, Yahweh said, that if Ahaz will not believe, surely he shall not be established.

12: But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt Yahweh.

Ahaz said, "no, I will not ask, neither will I tempt you, Yah." You see, Ahaz didn't want to tempt Yahweh, and ask for a sign, because that would have proved that he didn't trust in Yah. Remember, verse 2 says, that they shook like trees in a windstorm. That means, they were afraid. no one who trust in Yah is afraid of anything!

Psalms 23, verse 4 says:

4: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

So, you see, Ahaz, and the kingdom of Judah, did not already believe! That's why they needed a sign, and Yahweh knew it. Yahweh knows the heart!

Let's keep reading in Isaiah 7

13: And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my Elohim also?

14: Therefore Yahweh himself shall give YOU a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Yahweh said, he will give "YOU" a sign....who is "YOU?" "O HOUSE OF DAVID," in verse 13, and in verse 10, he's speaking to Ahaz. Yahweh said, that, this SIGN is going to prove that HE is with "AHAZ and the HOUSE OF DAVID," NOT with Mary and Joseph. Now let me ask a question....Is this a SIGN about Christ being born, some, 720-790 years later, to be the SAVIOR of the WORLD, or is this a SIGN to Ahaz, and the house of David, that Ephraim, (Pekah, kingdom of Yisra'el,) will be broken, that it will not be a people, within 65 YEARS, in THEIR lifetime? Verse 8 says, "(Ephraim, kingdom of Yisra'el,) will be broken, that IT will not be a people. (within 65 YEARS, IN THEIR LIFETIME!)

In Hebrew the word "virgin" is not even used in verse 14. The word "almah," Strong #H5959" is used, meaning "Young Woman.". Feminine of "Elem," meaning "Young Man," Strong #H5958 Even if the real Hebrew word for "virgin" had been used, "bthuwlah," Strong #H1330"  meaning "Virgin." the point is still made. It is NOT speaking about Mary of the new testament, PERIOD!

In Hebrew, The name Immanuel, means, Elohim is with us. You see, THE BIRTH of IMMANUEL will CONVINCE AHAZ and the HOUSE OF DAVID that, ELOHIM (GOD) IS WITH THEM. And, can you imagine?, MOST Christian say that Christ IS (God), YAHWEH, himself. Just THINK, Yahweh would have been prophesying about HIMSELF being born. GET REAL! When did Yahweh EVER call HIMSELF Immanuel? Or, even, J.C., for that matter?

15: Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

"Butter and honey shall HE eat, that HE may know to refuse the evil" ("HE", meaning IMMANUEL!). LET ME ASK YOU THIS, When does YAHWEH have to LEARN to refuse the evil, and choose the good? ... huh? Answer me THAT!

16: For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

It is not necessary to go any farther in the chapter to prove that Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:21-23 is not speaking of the SAME event.

Now, how long does it take for a CHILD to LEARN to refuse the evil, and choose the good? 720-790 Years?
Verse 8 say that ALL this is going to take place within 65 years, in their lifetime, not , some 720-790 years later, in Christ's lifetime. And, by that time, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of BOTH her kings....within 65 years,! Both WHAT Kings? ... Rezin, the king of Syria, and Pekah, the king of Yisra'el, both THOSE Kings!

Was this war going on when Christ was born, somewhere around the FIRST century, C.E.? NO!, This war had ended, about 720-790 YEARS, earlier. See, 2 Kings 16: 1-9, where, Rezin, king of Syria, was killed by the army of Assyria, and in verse 20 of 2 Kings 16...Ahaz died a natural death, then, Hezekiah succeeds Ahaz as king of Judah, around the year 729-726, B.C.E.

And, concerning Pekah, king of Yisra'el, the whole 10 tribes, was eventually conquered, totally destroyed, enslaved and exiled by the ancient, Assyrian Empire, around 722-720 B.C.E., under king Sargon II, LOST to history and was NEVER heard from again, even to this VERY day. That's why they are called, "The Ten Lost Tribes of Yisra'el" or "Lost Tribes of Yisra'el."

The Kingdom of Judah, or Southern Kingdom, existed as an independent state from about 930 B.C.E. until 586 B.C.E. when it was conquered by the Babylonian Empire, under king Nebuchadnezzar II. In the wake of the conquest, with Jerusalem seized, and the first Temple destroyed, much of the population of the Kingdom of Judah was dispersed throughout the Babylonian Empire.

Isaiah lived in the 8th century, B.C.E., before Christ, and his father was name, Amoz.

Isaiah 1

1: The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

DON'T FORGET, Isaiah was LIVING at the time of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and at the time Hezekiah SUCCEEDS Ahaz as king of Judah, around the year 729-726, B.C.E. REMEMBER, IMMANUEL was BORN when Ahaz was king. Was Christ born when Ahaz was King? When Ahaz died, Christ STILL had NOT been BORN! Ahaz died around the time 729-726, B.C.E.. Christ was, supposedly, born about 725 years LATER, somewhere around the FIRST century, C.E.

Isaiah 7

14: Therefore Yahweh himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name IMMANUEL.

HOW IN THE LIVING WORLD CAN THIS BE A PROPHECY ABOUT "THE BIRTH OF J.C.?!"

Matthew 1

21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name J-E-S-U-S: for he shall save his people from their sins.

IMMANUEL or J-E-S-U-S? Which name is it? Isaiah 7:14 says, IMMANUEL. Matthew 1:21 says, JESUS. Matthew 1 Verse 21 also says, "for he shall save his people from THEIR SINS" Isaiah 7:14 never said that, the child, IMMANUEL was to be born,.."to save his people from THEIR SINS." He was born ONLY to be a SIGN! REMEMBER, Matthew is under OATH! Matthew is fabricating! He is a FABRICATOR! The fact of the matter is, Isaiah 7:14 was NEVER talking about J-E-S-U-S!, nor MARY!

Matthew 1

22: Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Matthew says, that ALL THIS was done, that it might be FULFILLED which was spoken of the Lord by the PROPHET, (Isaiah 7:14) saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Matthew's testimony, about the birth of Christ, is not creditable, IT'S INCREDIBLE! Matthew is a liar, and he should even be CHARGE with PERJURY, meaning; The deliberate, willful giving of false, misleading, or incomplete testimony under oath. Matthew claims he is writing the WORD OF GOD, but NOWHERE in his testimony he said GOD told him to write ANYTHING! It is TOTALLY, IMPOSSIBLE for Isaiah 7:14, to be talking about the BIRTH of CHRIST!

HalleluYAH ( Praise the mighty YAH)

YAH is Righteous!

Shalom.
